Dance ID helps young people to actively experience dance with all their senses. They are taken on a journey through the world of dance by observing, thinking, and doing. They are challenged to assign meaning to the abstract, to think and observe critically, and to respect different opinions. The SALLY dancers and the workshop leader help the young audience navigate this completely new experience that teaches them to see dance and each other in a different way. During Dance ID the participants will be encouraged to search for their own dance identity. This interactive programme opens new knowledge that would have otherwise remained hidden.
SALLY presents Dance ID in different versions adapted to school pupils ages 12 to 18. The programme takes place on an interactive dance floor at school.
