Ivan Montis (IT) was born in Sardinia, where he also started dancing. He completed his Bachelor of Performing Arts at the Codarts University of the Arts in Rotterdam.
In 2011, Ivan established himself in the Netherlands, where he danced with Korzo Theater, ICKamsterdam, Scapino Ballet Rotterdam, Dance Theater AYA, and the National Opera & Ballet Amsterdam. During this period, he worked together with various choreographers, including Stephen Shropshire, Itzik Galili, Samir Calixto, Marco Goecke, Wim Vandekeybus, Emio Greco, Krisztina de Châtel, Ed Wubbe, Club Guy&Roni and Conny Janssen.
Since 2013, Ivan has been dancing with SALLY in Maastricht. This season, he can be seen performing in Dansparels and in Thirteen Images from the Dark Land.
